The run did not pass its own rubric and published anyway, as the method requires — the file is what the sources gave, and the failed checks are these: wikipedia_filter_held (1 namespace or main-page titles among the Wikipedia signals: Hauptseite).
Every morning a machine reads what the open web says it is looking at — search trends, the most-read encyclopedia articles, the link aggregators, the fediverse, the day’s headlines and the newest repositories — and keeps what several of them say at once. Each source keeps its own label and its own count; the crossing is done by a token rule that is written down, not by a model that guesses.
Rising this week
Terms that build over weeks rather than spiking for a morning, counted across link aggregators, news, code repositories and preprints. The figure is the last seven days; the pace beside it compares those days with the three weeks before them.

Converging now
Every topic that more than one source was looking at, and which sources those were. The row is the topic, the column is the source, and a mark is that source carrying it — so a row’s length is exactly the claim the ledger makes about it.

A topic is counted as converging when it surfaces on at least two of the independent sources read this morning. Labels are matched by a disclosed token rule — case folded, diacritics stripped, hashtags split, stopwords dropped, then exact token, token overlap above the committed threshold, or containment — never by a language model. Score is the number of platforms carrying a topic, then rank within each of them; the label shown is the one from the highest-priority source.
By source
What each source said on its own, before any crossing. A source that did not answer is recorded as unavailable with the reason — never quietly dropped, and never filled in from a neighbour.

Method
Every morning the pipeline reads 20 open sources and records what each one declares as trending, with that source’s own label, its own rank and its own count. Labels are reduced to tokens — case folded, diacritics stripped, hashtags split, stopwords dropped — and matched across sources by an exact token, by overlap above a committed threshold, or by one label being contained in another. A topic scores by the number of independent platforms carrying it and then by its rank within each of them, and it is shown under the label of the highest-priority source that carries it. Every day is committed as JSON and never edited afterwards, so first-seen and days-hot are read out of the archive rather than out of a memory.
No language model writes anything on this page: every label is a source’s own label, every count a source’s own count; the cross-check is a token-matching rule disclosed on the method sheet.
The archive
Every committed day, newest first — 48 so far.
